A Soft Start to the Year

It's been a quiet winter. It's been cold but we haven't had any snow. I guess that can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Personally, for me, it's good. I hate driving in the snow.
January in the studio is always a little quieter — and honestly, that’s something I’ve learned to appreciate over the years.
After the rush of the holiday season, this month gives me space to reset. I spend time organizing the studio, mapping out upcoming collections, and easing back into the rhythm of making. It’s less about rushing toward the next launch and more about letting ideas settle and take shape.
This January feels especially meaningful as I step into another year in business. What started as a creative outlet has grown slowly and intentionally into something I’m incredibly proud of. Each year has taught me more about balance, creativity, and the importance of making things that fit into real, everyday life.

Lately, I’ve been sewing with soft textures and gentle color palettes — fabrics that feel cozy now but will transition beautifully into early spring. I love designing pieces that are versatile: bags and pouches that can be used as project bags, purse organizers, cosmetic cases, or thoughtful gifts. The goal is always function and joy.
As I look ahead, I’m excited about the collections launching at the end of January and the creative momentum building for the months to come. February and March will bring new ideas, fresh fabrics, and continued exploration of color and texture — all grounded in the same intention that’s guided my work from the beginning.
For now, January is about moving a little slower, creating with care, and enjoying the quiet moments in between. I’m grateful to share this season — and what’s coming next — with you.
