Pop-Up Postcard: June 7, 2025 - Moses Lake Farmers Market
This Saturday’s market brought the heat — literally. With a heat advisory in full effect, it was one of the warmest days so far this season. But even with the rising temps, the market had a great energy and plenty of familiar faces (and a few wagging tails) made it all worthwhile.
Wristlet keychains in bold, cheerful prints were quick to go, and my vinyl boxy bags turned heads again. There were lots of smiles, compliments, and even a sweet moment when someone told me I “always have the prettiest booth.” It’s those little moments that remind me why I love doing this.

This week also marked the debut of my new fabric button earrings and matching purse mirrors! They’re sweet little pops of color and whimsy — perfect for gifting or adding a cheerful touch to your everyday look. I loved hearing all the “oohs” and “awws” from people checking them out. These cuties are officially part of the lineup now and will be popping up in future markets.
I tried out a new layout this weekend. It gave the booth a fresh look, but I’ll be making some adjustments next time to improve the flow and visibility from inside. Every market is an opportunity to refine the setup and keep things feeling new.
I also quietly tested a little booth enhancement: a wax warmer powered by my portable unit. And good news — it works! This opens up some fun possibilities for incorporating scent into the booth experience at future markets. Imagine being greeted by the soft fragrance of my seasonal candles the moment you walk by…
This week I had a lightbulb moment — I realized I can use my stash of chenille iron-on letters to personalize dog bandanas right at my booth! It’s a fun way to add a special touch for your pup, and I’m planning to offer this option at upcoming markets. And who knows? I might even explore bag personalization down the road too.
