Pop-Up Postcard: November 6-11, 2025 - Seed Cupboard Christmas Market
Share
November always feels like the true start of the holiday season—the air gets crisp, twinkle lights start appearing, and my studio shifts into full gift-making mode. This week I packed up my festive displays and joined a wonderful group of makers for the Seed Cupboard Christmas Market, my first time attending this event.
It was such an enjoyable week. The smaller size made it feel warm and personal, and I loved getting to talk with visitors and catch up with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Supporting a local business in my own community made it even more special. We set up inside one of the greenhouses so we were warm and toasty and the event had a wonderful hometown feel.

Shoppers gravitated toward all things cozy and giftable—hand creams and candles were steady favorites, and my Beetlejuice-inspired “Showtime!” bags drew lots of smiles (and nearly sold out!). The Christmas stockings I’d been sewing earlier in the week were another highlight—people loved the mix of prints and the playful buttons. Seeing them find new homes made all those late-night sewing sessions worth it.

Overall, this six-day market was such a bright start to the holiday season. It reminded me how much joy there is in connecting face-to-face, sharing handmade pieces, and being part of a community that values creativity and color. I’d definitely love to come back next year.
